Reviews

  • I participated in a tasting experience and tour of the town with Romina, who runs the cheese shop and helps her father on the farm in the hills above Castelnuovo. Romina is a wonderful hostess...her cheese are incredibly tasty, she clearly is very knowledgeable about Garfagnana and has a deep love for the land.

We had a wonderful time with Romina and shared amazing experiences at her family businesses! Such warm and lovely people who really hold their trade in high regards.

You can feel the passion this family puts into cheese making and Romina will accompany you through this tasting with enthusiasm. We tasted cheeses of different types with each one a different story. The icing on the cake was the cheese and gin tasting, something we had never tried but were pleasantly surprised.

    Cinzia from Italy

  • Excellent experience, Romina was welcoming and very nice and made us try local products also according to our tastes, accompanied by historical and artistic information and anecdotes. After cheese, wine and gin tasting, Romina took us around Garfagnana ending the visit with a delicious ice cream, the best in town!

    Giada from Italy

Walking through the streets of the historic center, each participant will experience events that highlight olfactory culture.
